A Monster in London

Layout and elevation designs from a collaborative haunted house concept for 2024 Haunted Attraction Competition, based off the prompt “Literature”.

My goal when creating the layout was to establish the environment so guests were transported to 19th century London through the twists of abandoned alleyways and interiors of a city where a mythological murderer is loose. I wanted to ground my designing in the concept of Fiction vs. Fact, since the guest is taking on the role of an investigative journalist and must record the occurrences. I tried to frame the abnormal while giving the guests a practical lens to look through.
