Layout and elevation designs from a collaborative haunted house concept for 2023 Haunted Attraction Competition, this project was judged by industry experts from Knotts Scary Farm. This concept was awarded Top Ten in addition to winning Best Layout.
My goal when designing the layout was to create a space where an unnatural story could take place in a somewhat familiar setting. I focused on seamlessly transitioning the story to a physical space through thoughtful placement of rooms and purposeful guidance of guest flow, while ensuring ADA requirements.
Logline: "After the great depression bestows financial struggles on the Théȃtre de L’enfer,
Edwin Crevier turns to magic as he wishes to save his theater, however he manages to star in his own tragedy and learns, you might not always get what you wish for.”
