Concept Rendering

Based on an idea of an Italian Masquerade water ride I used Procrete to render my vision for a potential scene. The way I completed it was by adding flat colors to the environment and then adding colorless shadows of varying opacity. The result came out dramatic which was great for the feeling I was looking to accomplish despite the shadows “breaking” color theory by not being created from the complementary color. I added highlights and lighting to truly bring the scene into its intended nighttime look. No water is complete without a reflection of its surroundings so I made sure to add the reflection and translate the perspective to the water as well.
