Ideation Sketches

The first form of small ideation sketches I like to use are ones where I create a rough shape of the intended subject. After research and moodboarding this method allows me to naturally impose what I have gathered in a broader sense before I focus on the details. After the form is created I do exactly that and add details to bring the creation out of the rough form.

Another ideation technique I find useful is taking a simple geometric shape to help envision 3-dimensional forms. I use line weight to add depth to these drawings which furthers the structural appearance.
